Reviews

  • Aviad successfully conveys the incredible fortitude of these women in the early stages of the State of Israel. Her documentary captures the tragedy, fear, and, ultimately, the hope that allowed them to create the lives they desired.
    Batya H. Carl, Kol HaBirah
  • From its memorialization of the struggle of immigrants and refugees, representation of Jews of color, complicated portrayal of the relationship between Jews and Arabs, and profoundly feminist subjects, these stories of Dimona feel perfectly relevant in 2017.
    Mitali Desai, Jewish Women's Archive
