Reviews

  • The real feat is how the filmmakers shaped such an engaging documentary distillation and composition out of this massive material. The film doesn’t explain, but shows and juxtaposes, leaving room to explore through roughly a three-step content development from information, to reflection, to increasing emotion.

  • A fantastic, formally daring documentary, and a chilling and troubling commentary on the ways in which collective Israeli Jewish identity is formed in response to the #Holocaust.
